The proposed design is one large building broken into staggered blocks with varying apex and eaves levels and with large panels of glazing to break up the overall mass of the building. The building is organised around an attractive courtyard that works as a hub with access to all ground floor units and stairwells. This central space accommodates shared parking spaces, bin areas and low maintenance shrubs. Bin storage is located close to adopted area for convenience and bins are screened with timber fences. In order to provide an attractive green courtyard while achieving a better parking ratio, some areas will be finished with grasscrete allowing them to be part of both landscape and parking spaces if required. All units have generous glazed areas to benefit from. solar gains and views. The proposed building shows generous Juliet balconies on south east and north east elevations to take advantage of the views.
